Stephanie Sandows (born 29 October 1990) is a South African actress and presenter. She is best known for playing the role of Ingrid in etv drama series Scandal!, and for playing the role of adult version of Lerato in the 2019 film Losing Lerato.

Early Life and Education
Stephanie Sandows was born in Johannesburg, South Africa on 29 October 1990. Growing up, Stephanie never thought of becoming an actor, instead she pursued an Honours Degree in Social Linguistics at the University of Johannesburg graduating in 2012.
Before graduating from university, Stephanie began creating subtitles for etv drama series Scandal! as part of her practicals. She began to develop interest in the production of the soapie drama and was given minor recurring roles where she played a receptionist Ingrid on Scandal!.
Career of Stephanie Sandows
Stephanie Sandows television career began in early 2010 when she became a presenter for children’s shows such as Craze on e.tv and the religious program Bonisanani. In 2013 she bagged a role of playing Tsholo in a web series MTV Shuga, a youth drama which addressed social issues.
While studying at the University of Johannesburg for social linguistic, she started working behind the scene with etv Scandal! team creating subtitles for the drama series. During that time, she developed interest in the production and started acting as Ingrid the daughter of businessman Wesley Thompson. Then in 2019 she returned to MTV Shuga where she continued with her character of Tsholo.
The following year in 2020, she appeared in the film Heks. In 2023 she ventured into new career territories of content creation when she launched The Ndlovu’s Uncut YouTube channel with her then husband Hungani Ndlovu. The channel documented the couple’s everyday life and connected with their fans. The channel was renamed to Rin Production after their divorce and focused on Stephanie Sandows and her daily life.
Production and casting
Stephanie Sandows worked behind the scene on several productions such as etv Scandal!, Rented Family on SABC and Spoor on KykNET as a casting director. She has been the brain behind the YouTube channel The Ndlovu’s Uncut which earned awards in 2021 qnd 2022 for its popularity and impact.
Personal Life of Stephanie Sandows
Sandows got married to co-actor Hungani Ndlovu on 23 February 2019. The couple shares a child together, a daughter they named Rhulani Iyana Ndlovu, who was born in June 2022. In June 2025 they announced their divorce after six years of marriage.
