Ndoyisile Ndumiso Sibindi (born 2 November 1999) is a Zimbabwean social media influencer, content creator and model based in South Africa. He is well known for his comedic TikTok skits and has built a massive online following with more than 1 million followers on the platform.

Early Life and Education

Ndoyisile Ndumiso Sibindi was born on 2 November 1999 in Esigodini, Matabeleland South, Zimbabwe. He grew up in Habane township as the first-born child in a family of three.

Sibindi started his schooling career at Mvuthu Primary School, and later Mvuthu High School. He was a very bubbly child growing up, and having been raised by his grandmother and a single mother, he really had a great support system. He started showing signs of being gay, playing mostly with girls and dolls instead of toy cars.

After obtaining basic education, Ndoyisile pursued Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology at Lupane State University. Unfortunately, he didn’t complete his studies after dropping out because of discrimination as a result of being queer, plus lack of finances. He eventually relocated to South Africa the following year.

In South Africa, Ndoyisile pursued a career in fashion. In an interview with EXIT, an LGBTQI community newspaper in South Africa, Ndoyisile explained why his first career choice was sociology.

“Growing up I never understood what was happening around me: family drama, society having norms that we’re supposed to adhere to even if we were not in agreement with them and so on. Hence I ventured into Sociology,” he said.

He trained as a licensed cabin crew member. He has also identified himself as a private investigator.

Career and Influence

Ndoyisile Ndumiso Sibindi rose to fame through his satirical TikTok videos. He joined Tiktok for fun but was shocked to see it grow to over 200 thousand followers and three million likes. In many of his Tiktok skits, he uses dark humour to educate and entertain people about LGBTQIA+ issues he faced while revealing his queer identity.

As his popularity grew, he also entered the modelling industry. Over the years, he has worked with several South African modelling agencies, including Ace Models Johannesburg South and Hollywood Heights Joburg.

In 2021 Ndoyisile founded Ndoyisile Ndumiso Sibindi fashion brand. It initially produced underwears, then in recent years it has ventured into clothes.

“People always asked why I ventured into underwear and my response is simple: I look very good in underwear and have a great body.

His aim is to see his fashion brand growing to an extend of seeing it on the shelves of retail stores.

Identity and Challenges

Sibindi openly identifies as a queer man. He often shares his experiences of being gay in African communities advocating and raising awareness about LGBTQIA+ community. He faced lot of challenges when he finally came open about his identity as a queer person. His family disowned him and stopped supporting him financially.

He also explained in Vice Versa publication, that one of the reasons he moved to South Africa was because he was running away from Zimbabwe where he could possibly get arrest for being queer. His life would be in danger of prosecution or getting killed by homophobes. This is the reason he had to move to South Africa before he open up to the public about his queer identity.

Recent Controversies

In January 2025, Sibindi faced heavy criticism after making remarks about residents from Tembisa overcrowding the Mall of Africa. Although he later claimed the comments were a joke, many people condemned them as classist.

Later, in May 2026, his audition for the Top Billing presenter (alongside Arno Greeff) search went viral online. However, several social media users called for his disqualification because of his previous controversial comments about South Africans.

Furthermore, some South African social media personalities have publicly questioned the legitimacy of his residency and work documents.

Ndoyisile strongly advices the upcoming creators on Tiktok to be themselves, not copying others, if they want to grow their followers and influence.
